How to Change Refill

• expose the refill by unscrewing the rollerball grip section 
• remove the old refill 
• insert new refill and seat refill onto spring in base of pen
• screw grip section back on to pen

I turned the barrel of this pen from fir cones and resin. The blank for this pen was created in a specialized chamber capable of withstanding high pressure. A two-part urethane resin is dyed and mixed with the fir cones then subjected to 60 pounds of pressure per square inch in the sealed chamber. This ensures no bubbles are present in the casting. Pressure is released after about an hour then the now solid pen blank is left to cure for several days.
